In production, generally companies are always attach “another function” on their product. The purpose is to inform the consumer that their product has been much more qualified than other product from another company when it’s being advertised. It sure gives them profit, but sometimes they are “overdo”.

I’d love to discuss about the lighter. Lately, we can find various kind of lighter with various kind of function. Generally those lighter are divided in two types. The first is the one that used stone as the fire trigger and the second is using magnet / electric. The one that used stone as the trigger is the old type and the one using magnet / electric is the new type. From the different above, various kind of lighter has been made such as the one written with phone cellular brand like Sony Erickson, Motorola, Nokia, and the others with their symbol. Few months later, we can find another lighter with flashlight of various colors from bright white like halogen lamp to bright blue.

Nowadays, it’s been developed to a lighter with transparent plastic casing which has tiny lamp that able to light up by turns. Actually there have been so many kind of it.

Recently I found a lighter which able to showing a picture of a woman in swimsuit in a dark room in a shape of beam’s light. In another country those kind of things might looks usual, but not in Indonesiasince its being discussed in a local news program. The citizen may be afraid whenever immature / underage children could have the lighter since they were not supposed to have it, considering the cheap price.

Seems like the entrepreneur in our country still think about their own personal profit instead of support the government to improving the quality of the youth.
